Quota & billing
Your free Partner-mode transactions, the overage fee, and how and when fees are charged.
ShadhinPay's pricing for Partner mode is simple: a free monthly allowance, then a small flat fee per transaction beyond it.
The free tier
Every account gets 10 free Partner-mode transactions per calendar month.
- The allowance is counted per account, shared across all your businesses — if you run five businesses, they draw from the same 10 free transactions.
- The month resets at 00:00 on the 1st, Bangladesh time (Asia/Dhaka).
- Only Partner-mode payments that actually reach a provider count. Payments that fail before reaching a provider don't use up your allowance.
- Sandbox (test) payments never count toward quota.
Overage fee
From the 11th Partner-mode transaction in a month onward, each transaction is billable at a flat ৳0.39.
Going over the free tier never blocks or fails a payment — your customers can always pay. The transaction is simply flagged as billable, and the fee is settled later (see below).
Custom mode is different
In Custom mode you pay your provider directly and there's no per-transaction platform fee — instead a fixed platform fee applies. The free-tier allowance and the ৳0.39 overage described here apply to Partner mode.
When fees are charged
Billable fees are not taken at payment time. They're collected at settlement, deducted from your payout along with vendor fees and taxes. See Balance & payouts for the full breakdown. Applicable AIT and VAT are calculated on the platform-fee portion only.
Tracking your usage
The dashboard shows your current period at a glance:
- Your limit (10)
- How many free transactions you've used
- How many free transactions remain
- How many billable transactions you've had this period
You can also view your usage history month by month. The first time you go over the free tier in a period, the dashboard shows a one-time notice so there are no surprises.
